2020 BMW 330i Sedan Loaner Lease Deal

,

I’ve spent several days lurking, trying to learn but not I’m afraid I have just enough knowledge to be dangerous. If you guys wouldn’t mind looking at what I have managed so far I would appreciate feedback. I’m in Texas so I know that changes things on the tax end. This is for a loaner lease with 4000 miles.

Edmunds comes up with an MSRP (based on options) of about $2k less that the $47045 “Vehicle Price” they show. I’ve run this through the lease hacker calculator but again I think I know just enough to mess that up.

I’ve asked but so far I haven’t gotten a straight answer on MF. I am not interested in putting money other than the first payment and necessary fees down but they showed $2500 to get the payment where I wanted it. According to the sales rep I also qualify for a USAA discount of $500 and they also show they’ve accounted for another $1750 rebate but doesn’t give details.

Vehicle Price - $47045.00
Savings - $8954.05
Customer Rebate - $3500.00
Price - 34,590.95
Sales Tax - $2442.91
Doc Fee - $150.00
Inspection - $16.75
Title - $33.00
Tag/Reg - $115.25
Other - $27.00
Cash Due at signing - $2500
Balance Due - $37,375.86

Monthly Payment - $411.00. 36mo/12kmi

Again, can’t express how much I appreciate the knowledge on this site. If you need more detail, packages, etc. on the car let me know.

The biggest hack in high-tax states is finding tax credits, ie paying 1.25% of sales price in Texas instead of 6.25%

Agreed, this was new knowledge for me when I started looking at leasing. I had no idea how much higher my payment vs. other states would be because of the taxes. Sorry for the green question but from what I’ve seen tax credits are a government thing, are they available from dealers as well?

The distribution of credits is not a government thing. It’s from the banks to the consumer via the dealer.
