2020 Audi S3 $501+tax

I know  it’s cause it’s a 42 month lease

I was originally planning on selling to carmax, but was hoping I could just knock out two birds with one stone and have the dealer take my truck

I’m only doing $1,000 down. I’ve confirmed RV, MF, and incentives on it

Yeah, I can’t reach the payment I’d like at 36 months

I did  I couldn’t find anything I liked :sob:

You know what, I have not sat in one. I have this huge thing where I don’t like to see the car before leasing. Did the same thing with the Tacoma. Didn’t even know what color it was until the deal was almost finalized. However, I have been told by a couple people that it’s relatively the same size as an Nissan Altima. I’m a lease specialist at a Nissan dealership that’s why the comparison

Not sure anyone can help you, then.

In most circumstances, a previous model year car won’t lease well due to its dreadful residual value. They make good purchase candidates but often the higher discounts only just about cover the drop in RV.

Wait what?

Wow I almost missed that part. I would be shocked if the A3 has as much space as a Sentra. Realistically, probably closer to a Versa.*

*Disclaimer: I haven’t actually compared interior dimensions just going off of my own experience in each car.

If you have an open mind, you should consider a Lexus IS or an Acura TLX. I would strongly suggest test driving any car you like that fits your budget.

Coming from a pickup truck to a sedan is going to be an adjustment.

My $0.02.

Have you seen the CA eTron sales war that started March 2nd? You could get $71k eTron Premium with Convenience Plus package for 24/7500, no MSDs, $329 + tax.

The A3/S3 is tiny. It’s a sub compact car.

Forget the A3 completely

Sell your truck to Carvana and pocket the $3k equity first. Search the marketplace here and see what kind of deals can be had on much larger and much nicer vehicles than the A3. With your budget, you can lease plenty of different midsized luxury cars.

Good luck

It may be tiny, but the RS3 with that 5cyl . I’ve seen that thing dyno 600whp.

If you adjust the deal to $0 DAS with everything rolled in, it comes to nearly $500 + tax for 7.5k miles. OP is looking at 12k miles. FWIW, an e-tron’s 222 mile range is not for everyone.

Sam at Audi BH (and brokers) have other mileage options. OP was asking for other options for most luxury under $500 and coming from a truck. His deal is not $0 DAS. His MSRP is $52k. It’s also, 42 months which means regardless, he would need to pay another full year or CA DMV fees.

Not sure why you seem to have an anti-eTron stance. Sure, it doesn’t fit everyone’s needs but it’s one of the bang for you bucks unicorns right now with almost $17k in incentives- especially for 24 months. Not asking you to get it, but answering OP call for options.

My buddy picked up his eTron at BH yesterday for 24/10, with AC, no MSDs for $461 all in.

You might convert your deals to $0 DAS on how you comparisons but most of us do driveoffs only and MSDs upfront and don’t want to pay finances charges on taxes and DMV/dealer fees- we use that as our benchmark for comparisons.

Regardless, $71k vehicle that’s a huge upgrade over S3 in comfort, size, build quality and driveability-especially with the current incentives and Costco.

I have nothing against the e-Tron. Just pointing out a fact regarding the range.

You’re preaching to the choir. There are indeed deals to be had on this car .

Feel free to direct any future comments at the OP.

The e-tron is a perfect example of why not normalizing the data is a big issue. Because it’s an ev with massive rebates being thrown at it, the DAS amount is thousands more than would be typical of another vehicle at the same base monthly rate. Saying that it’s just “drive-offs” doesn’t tell the right story when the drive offs make up 30% of the lease cost.

This! I went having Ram 1500’s the last 6 years into a '20 M340ix and now I’m swapping out of my BMW lease to get another truck.

If it’s gotta be a car (vs SUV), A4 and IS300/350 are decent deals given it’s a event month for both.

TLX has really good deals given its brand new.

Harder to find Volvo deals in SoCal, but the S60 is another option.

Each of these is significantly quicker than any Tacoma ever sold, though less quick than an S3.

Sad day boys (and girls), sat in an A3 just to get the feel, extremely small. Nothing like an Altima like they said. Shoutout to those that pointed that out to me. Felt a lot more comfortable on an A4. I guess I’ll start a search on an A4 :man_shrugging:t4: (I think S4 is out of my payment option)

By the way, if anyone wants that S3 deal I received, it’s in Calabasas, CA on the only 2020 S3 they have :+1:t4:

Hopefully this will have you rethink your don’t see a car before leasing policy.
