2019 Range Rover lease help

Looking for a 2019 Range Rover V8 Supercharged.

MSRP: $126,650

Was quoted by a broker - $1,890 per month with $7k down for a 2019 Model.

Was quoted by a dealer - $2,102 per month, $5,700 down for a 2018 Model.

Both including tax 36 months/10k miles per year.

Is it me or are these numbers very high? Wondering what’s the point of leasing when I can finance it for cheaper? I do like the idea of leasing but wondering if these numbers make sense.

I’ve never leased a car in my life and would appreciate help!

Thanks.

You have very little chance of making any sort of decent deal on a 2019. Try and find an 18 for a better deal but RR lease badly anyway.

Mistake - the $2,102 per month is on a 2018. The $1,890 is on a 2019.

You are in Bentley territory there. Horrid deal.

Yep.

I went to Bentley and was quoted $2,200 on a Bentley Bentayga. 9k down, 42 months, 8k miles per year.

The Bentley was about $90k more than the Range Rover. I don’t get it.

That’s pretty good… a family member was looking at a 150k car. Came in at 2k per month with money upfront. G63 AMG

I got a 258k Bentley recently for 5k das, 2500 tax in for 36/10

Yea the Bentayga lease I saw was $0 down, $1999 + tax for a $250k one.

RR have been/are horrible lease candidates, low residual values and high money factors. Only lease this car if you have to or don’t want to take the trade-in/resale risk. Assume it will be worth approx. 50% on a trade-in 3 years from now.

In $2,000 territory there are a lot of options at that point. If the lease is terrible the purchase is probably not the best idea. They are factoring in depreciation that’s why the lease is so bad, so purchasing may not be the best option.

So I got another quote -

129k MSRP with no discount
39 months/12k miles
1,701 per month + tax
7k cap reduction

Is this good as far as range rovers go? Guess I don’t have much of a choice, this is the base rate from US Bank, the other dealers jacked up MFs.

Hi,

Could you tell me the dealer you saw this advertisement and the miles?

I don’t recall the dealer but it was on the East Coast from my memory. The mileage was abysmal at 5,000 a year.

Could you please tell me where you leased your car and the discount off MSRP? Was it a demo? Those numbers are pretty good.

Hey there. Are you able to share the name of the broker you used for this deal?

If you have a business you’re probably better off financing it and taking a 179 deduction.

Hello there.
I used DSR Leasing.

The Range Rover is excellent don’t regret it at all, despite lease issue.

I was a sales manager for Land Rover for 3 years. I recently started my own business offering a buying concierge service. I take care of everything and have the docs and vehicle delivered to your home or office. I just did a deal for a client in CA on a 2019 LWB, 4K off and buy rate. Feel free to call or email me for any assistance with any type of vehicle acquisition.

You could finance a Land Cruiser for 36 months with that number.

The level of luxury between the two cannot be compared

A land cruiser no doubt will last forever and get you through any sticky situation. It doesn’t have the cache of an RR or luxurious features and tech.
