2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Loaded Help - Cali Deal

,

Hi there

First time poster long time lurker and need some advice on a new Ram truck we’re trying to lease in Cali.

36mth/10k miles with $2k drive off. We’re trying to get it to $575 per month inc tax but are being told it’s not possible. This is the very best one dealer has offered on this particular truck - your thoughts are appreciated.

what is in the driveoff? If its a down payment as it says cash in your screenshot then you should skip the down payment and start negotiating with a 0 driveoff or maybe a 0 down, you are also at the point where you could probably spec out a limited for the same price and I’m sure the limited has some goodies that the laramie doesn’t, I’m not familiar with exact packaging for ram but laramie is like a lariat whereas limited is like a platinum where the platinum has massaging seats and the lariat cant get those, again not sure what the limited has that the laramie cant but worth exploring, double check mf/residual and incentives from edmunds. It would also be helpful to breakdown that screenshot like msrp = x, sales price = x, mf =x, etc etc. You could definitely work the numbers a bit and get to where you want to, $25 is a very small bridge to gap at that current price range.

$2k flat drive off

Thanks 2pac, that was my feeling too. In terms of spec its because we want the blackout/sport package which isn’t available on the Limited and this one has pretty much everything we want inc the self leveling suspension. OK will break it down.

No expert here, but look to see if you qualify for Chrysler affiliate pricing through your employer. ill drop a link with the companies that qualify. Not sure discount wise but any little bit helps.

Thanks Titan, that’s very kind of you, County Sheriffs Dept though so no dice sadly. We asked if there were law enforcement discounts too but no, only realtors.

Yeah I get it, the lariat has a sport package versus the platinums luxury trim, so its really you wanting the sport trim over luxury which is cool. Maybe try cars.com to see how similarly optioned Laramie’s are priced, maybe even run quotes over the phone/internet and see if you can get to your target range or even lower and then make sure you take those emailed printouts from the other dealers to your dealer and use it as leverage.
