I was looking for an X5, but being in norcal its almost impossible to find a decent deal as of late so I switched my focus to an RX (in need of a family SUV). Stopped by the local dealership and test drove the RX450h and have to say I really liked a lot more then the X5!

This morning decided to shoot an email to one of the salesman and got the following quote:

The monthly he is telling me with roughly 1500 drive off (Fees and First month) and base MF is $642.xx for 36/15k.

From what I can tell the discount is 11.1% off right away but he says this the max he can do. When I run the numbers through the calculator they don’t match up and roughly $100 off a month.

Do you think there is more of a discount to be had?

If you’re already on here, then you should know that you need to provide more information to get any sort of productive feedback.

Here’s an example of a deal I got a few months ago. I’m guessing numbers should be better now.

I emailed the salesperson and asked but that is all he provided. What other information should I ask for?

Look at a deal from one of the socal brokers in their excel file. Then try to get similar numbers from the norcal dealer. Email all the dealers around. If done right you can close this today.

Goto Oakland. Will offer 12.5% off the bat. I have also been told that fremont would do do 13%
