2019 Jetta SEL Premium - $320 a month good lease deal?

2019 Jetta SEL premium
MSRP: 28,500
Negotiated Price: 24,500 (3,000 discount and 1,000 rebate)
I believe the lease end value was given at around 16K.
I will use 1,200 dollars from my trade in as the down payment

The offer given was 36months/12k miles at 320 dollars a month.

The state I live in is NC.

Is this a decent deal?

Do you have the MF and RV?

I believe the RV is around 58%-60%
And the MF is .00120

Can’t 58%. 16k/28k is closer to 50 than 60.

For that money I just lease QX60 for $315 and $1,300 and due at signing (well excl MSD:))

Check the Edmunds forums for the MF. No way it’s pushing 60 percent on a 36 mo/12k miles.

This is the response I received on the Edmunds forum:
.00110 MF and 58% residual

Pushing $350 a month with your down payment on a Jetta is absolutely insane.

You can get twice the car for that amount of money.

Wow, great RV on a car that traditionally depreciates a lot. VW Finanvial May be providing a positive outlook to encourage leasing.

If that’s the case, work on it and you should be able to get a pretty good deal on one.

Huh, I guess my quick math was off.

So if RV is 58% then it’s 16.5k indeed.
But with sale price 24.5 you only need to pay 8k in principal which is $220 per months.
And MF is fairly low per endmuds supposedly. What MF dealer used is to be confirmed.

What are the rest of numbers? Need more info to underatand where it’s going down the hill.

Is it in the state with tax on full price of the car?

That’s what my quick math (which admittedly is often wrong) also indicated.

MF quoted by the dealer may not be marked up much, but it is not a low MF is an absolute sense.

I agree that something seems very off w/ the quoted monthly payment.
