Yeah I’d rather not have that kind of DAS amount. Not to save $25 that’s insane.
Obviously that’s the 1.5T…the 2.0T has an MSRP $4500 higher.
The best part about 4cyl TLX is it’s more like a previous gen accord and it’s slow!
So ended up going with the lease. Dealer wouldn’t budge on the trade in but knocked off some fees nonsense. Ended up at $392 with $2k down including 1st months payment. Don’t hate or love the deal but it worked out for me. Thanks for all the tips & advice!
The Sport looks great in that grey… enjoy
Holy beep! $2000 down to get $392? I got $0 down $365 a month, and added in $1000 accessories and stayed at $365. Your trade was the biggest factor I guess? That’s unfortunate.
He rolled in a couple thousand of negative equity on a trade.
Correct. Rolling in negative equity doesn’t help and I don’t have a 720+ credit score for higher tier so I had two strikes against me. The $2k down did cover 1st months payment and taxes so in actuality I really put down $1k.
What did they tell you about credit? Tier 1 through tier 8 credit on an accord lease 2.0T has the same MF. I know because I landed tier 8
I didn’t have any trouble with credit. I just knew myself that I wouldn’t have been tier 1 so I just assumed I wasn’t getting the best interest rate.
fapfapfap enjoy the ride! The lease inventives on the Accord are the best they have been since the redesign came out in late 2017
You landed tier 8? And still got that accord 2.0 sport deal? How is that possible.
Because tier 1 and tier 8 is the same, at that given time for that particular car through Honda. That’s what I was told. Tier 1 through tier 8 was the same MF. Tier 9 it jumped way up.
I hope you got 15k a year and at least free oil changes with those numbers
You made the best deal you could on a really great car. I spend half my life in Lyfts when traveling, and every time I get in a new Accord (as someone who owned 3) can’t get over how nice they are. Congrats and enjoy it!
Do you have alerts set up for any and every Accord thread so you can go in and bash a payment?
Lmao! Good one
I mean, even factoring the negative equity, it’s a horrendous deal. Not even “just ok.” It’s really, really bad.
