2019 Dodge Ram Bighorn 4x4

  • 36 month term
  • 10k miles
  • MSRP: $44,495
  • Sale Price: $41,000
  • Capitalized cost: 33.5k
  • Residual: $27.5k @62%
  • Money Factor: .00275 (my credit is mediocre)
  • Monthly after rolling in EVERYTHING and only putting down first month payment: $318

They also paid my previous lease disposition and waived the disposition for the new lease so I ended up with just first payment at drive off, $318/month and no fees at turn in.

Not an Einstein level hack but pretty good. I am surprised at the high 62% residual …

Those are some damn good incentives on the Ram, especially for leasing. I would have shot for a little higher dealer discount, but its not bad.

Enjoy the cheap truck!

10k/12k/15k miles?

Something seems off with this deal.

On a side note, I hope you got the fact that they are waiving the disposition for the new vehicle in writing somewhere.

Never head of a dealership willing to pay the future disposition fee…

Sorry. 10k

I typed that ambiguously. It wasn’t the dealer that did that, it was the bank. And the reason they’re waiving the future disposition fee is because it’s their (and I might get this term wrong) “showroom floor partner” who they finance their inventory through and part of their overall agreement is that when they run leases through that bank they charge no disposition fee.

So paying the old one was doing me a favor. Waiving the new one is standard for leases through that bank. And yes it’s in writing.

Which part seems off, just out of curiosity?

I was too. The other dealership I shopped at was giving me 58%.

I felt like where the numbers were at, they were just pushing things around to make it work at that point. I don’t know that a further dealer discount would have helped in that I’m guess another number would have been pushed up (likely rebate) to compensate. But who knows!

I think they must have played around with some numbers based off the monthly payment because monthly should technically be higher however I’m don’t know where you live and how tax is calculated so who knows.

After plugging the details you gave on my end, (granted with a NY tax rate, everything rolled in I’m at over $400 a month ). especially at the MF your saying you got bought at.

My numbers could be off by a little bit. I was rounding from memory. The payment and terms are correct for sure though.

My state calculates the tax for the sum of lease payments + downpayment and charges tax on it up front. I rolled it into the payment.

Rebates are from the manufacturer; the dealer can’t touch those and does not affect their bottom line. Like I said though, its not bad and you have a cheap payment.

Solid deal…
