Coupes were nearly impossible to find them with the digital cluster, ambient lighting, and exhaust package when the refresh dropped.
@mcarrera2421not when you factor in the $6000 I have Virginia state tax + property tax that’s rolled into the lease, plus tire + wheel protection, and a legit $0 sign and drive but appreciate the feedback bud.
Yea va really screws you on leases. I moved to Washington and sales tax is high but so much better than having all that tax rolled into lease.

@babablacksheep yeah for sure, take it to most other non socialist states and the lease payment will be a relative steal considering a new lessee won’t have to put anything down. Just got a spot in Bethesda, MD and am going to check out the taxes before switching my primary residence from
VA.
Ahh the best you could come up with to scram lol. We need to have an age limit on members signing up I guess.

MD 6% tax on full price will partially offset 4.15% + property tax in VA

I live in DC and it’s the best of the 3… “only” 10% on the monthly for tax, which is still high compared to other states but better than MD… you pay full tax on the sale price of the car, even for leases. Yuck. Dreading the day when we move to MD for better school districts

Is there no sales tax on ev vehicles in dc though? I thought all the schools in dc were magnet and you could send where you like

@amaximeya You got it! Fun shooting photos in different spots around DC. May upload a few more for fun. I don’t think people understand the DMV pricing outside of those in San Fran or NYC areas. Feel you on the schools, it’s a major decision on where to buy/rent in the area.
You can’t roll Virginia property tax into the lease. Sales tax yes which is about $2500 on a $60,000 sale price, and a full year of property tax less than that.

Yep, I thought the same. But some brands do roll estimated property tax into payments, though I don’t think MB is one of them.

So the last post with no response was 6 mths ago… plus MB has paused lease transfers indefinitely… YMMV
