I was unable to recreate the deal without putting a minus $1704 for the down payment in the calculator as I did not put money down. Where exactly does this money come from? Overall, I think it was a decent deal.

Inflated MF even with the MSDs, right?
I thought base MF for September was .00128
Yea that’s the crappy part.

You just click on zero drive-off option instead of putting the negative down payment. When did you sign this deal? If in Sept, then that means you don’t have tier1 credit as the dealer cannot markup the MF to .00170.

I signed verbally. They are sending the documents in the mail. I have tier one credit but they jacked it up because of the large discount. How much is the highest they can put it up to then?
Hm. That is interesting. So they are adding money somewhere.

Match your numbers w the deal sheet. The math shouldn’t be too far off.

People are reporting in another thread that there is a stop sale back in place on the X1.
in 2018, BMW sold 3x as many X3s as X1s, according to carsalesbase.
Also, does “stop sale” mean “stop production”? I could see them continuing production, and then just stashing them in lots someplace until they can be retrofitted.

Is it 0.00128 for all models
Earlier it was 0.00144 right
I have not heard that. People are signing deals so I don’t know how that could be the case?

People were signing deals. Several people confirmed the stop sale, so I doubt you’ll get one anytime soon.
People reported the stop sale yesterday, so all sales people may not have heard.
Wow that’s interesting. For what now?

Read that thread. Seems to be for the same issue as the fix was inadequate.
What thread? Never mind. On my phone.

@cruiserchuck posted it above.
It’s marked as sold so I’m good.

No you aren’t. BMWFS won’t allow the deal to go through.
Well that’s not good news
