2019 BMW 540i MSPORT - Deal? $699/mo 2500 DAS $70K Car

Could I ask where you got these deals from?? Is it Socal?? Could you share some of your deal? Sorry if you have already

east coast.

I realize you’re looking at a new car but as an additional data point I pulled the trigger on a loaner 540 at the end of August. It’s fairly easy to find advertised 530/540 loaners in MA for $8-11k off MSRP (sometimes more). The challenge was finding a dealer willing to let me take advantage of the $5,250 of incentives as well. After reaching out to a number of dealers without much success I showed up in person at the end of the month and found one who would. My actual discount was $9k on a $64k MSRP so roughly a 14% discount pre-incentives which puts the monthly payment in the mid to high $400’s depending on your tax rate and whether you take advantage of the MSD’s.

That’s a discount you can’t walk away from. When did this happen?

August 31

This isn’t the dealership I went to but is a pretty heavily discounted loaner similar to the original post. My guess is it already includes most/all of the incentives at this price.

Hi guys,

How is this lease offer?

So-Cal

2019 BMW 540i Msport

MSRP: $67,000 MSRP
Selling Price: $60,500 (9.7% discount)
MF: 0.00128
Residual: 61%

Incentives: $5250 ($3250 Dealer Cash + $2000 Loyalty)

$570.00 month including tax 36 months. 10K year

$2250.00 due at signing

I think you can do better than 9.7% off, but I don’t know how willing dealers are discounting 540s.

Otherwise, under 600 on a 540 is considered very good.

15% discount should be set as your target and work your way up. The best I got was 10% and moved on to 640xi gt

15% off before incentives isn’t happening on a new car in most places.

Yeah 15% won’t happen, 12% is possible it might not be for this car. If you’re going to push for more, there’s not much more there.

Yea I know 15% would be a dream on 5 series but might be possible on November

you could do way better on a loaner, 67k on an m sport is probably rwd/and or base w/ no packages. Rwd probably doesn’t matter much in socal I suppose. But for $570 a month you should be able to score a car that has at least premium pack + m sport. to pay $600 a month imo it would have to be fully loaded i.e exec, luxury seating, etc. etc.

Also searching for my unicorn 540 atm.
