2019 Audi S5 Premium Plus Coupe - Lease from NJ

First post! I’ve spent some time browsing around and hope to have a decent grasp of the concepts

Some background

  • I live in NY, but am leasing car from NJ dealership

    • Currently leasing an Audi A5, Lease Ends Nov 26th
    • Am not Over Mileage / & AIM has given be a clean bill to return the car
  • Went to another Audi dealership in NJ for the 2019 S5 Coupe quote (not my original one)

    • Looking for Premium Plus
    • 36 months / 7500 Miles per annum

this was the initial Offer I got

this was the modified offer after

After some haggling, I got it down to 4k down & 600 per month for the lease

In all 3 offers, these are Included Packages & Options

  • Audi Guard Protection Kit$310
    • All-Weather Floor Mats
    • Cargo Mat
  • Carbon Atlas Inlays $500
  • Fine Nappa Leather Seating Surfaces $1,000
  • Heated Steering Wheel $200
  • Premium Plus $4,400
  • Convenience Package $1,500
  • Rings Audi Beam $250

thus far, i only have a refundable deposit down (1k) with the dealership

Is my final offer a good one?
Should i show this offer to my original dealership to compare?

Thank you for the input!

Why in God’s name would you put $4000 down?

I was going to put 2 down and do the rest as an MSD?

I don’t think you have enough information to make an informed decision.

What are the incentives and money factor from Audi for your area and that model? I would get them from Edmunds. Looks like there is at least $750-$2,000 in factory incentives that they are including in their quote.

Push to dump the etch; just BS dealer add-ons which is pure profit. Lastly you may be better to just go with 10K miles just in case bc you are really only saving about $15/month.

Yes, putting funds toward MSDs would be much smarter than just putting money down but you don’t know what MF you are actually reducing.

Score 6.7 indicates deal need improvement.

Thanks for the idea…

But my monthly is 600… and when i put some guessitmated numbers, it was 7.6

Why are you guesstimating? If you are close to pulling the trigger, you should be able to replicate the deal in the calculator. Don’t assume they are using base money factor.

BTW - Quick search and @nyclife, who is local, has your deal beat on a $66K S5:
