Is this a good deal?
Is 35 months intentional or a fat-finger?
First payment is probably in his drive offs.
More info is needed,
Whatâs with the MF, are there msds included?
Residual is incorrect, how many miles are you doing?
ok here is the breakdown of what bmw gave me:
MSRP: $51285
Cap: $45665 (11% off)
Drive off: $2500
Monthly: $600
I didnât take itâŚ
Ok how about this one? I think this is a bit closer to what I want
MF is marked up. Should get .00166
they are telling me that 166 is what they are getting from the manufacture, but i guess thatâs what I should be shooting for huh
Correct. Id never pay over base MF.
Thatâs incorrect logic. If the dealer discount is strong, and they mark the MF up, but you still get where you need to be, who cares if the MF is marked up
Is this a demo? 202020202
Well, i said it was my way of doing things. YMMV
What do you mean by demo? @kevinmr
@mp11477, they did mention that they wanted the finance team to make their numbers. The selling price is 15% off the MSRP, is that considered a good deal?
Itâs not bad. You could probably get another 2-3% off if you push hard enough. Keep in mind, not every dealer is going to discount a car 20%. People will tell you âhold out, hold out, hold out,â yet, there are no guarantees youâre going to find the guy willing to go 20% off in your general area, and if you do, it will take a ton of work to find them. Timing and picking the right dealership is everything, and quite frankly, luck plays into it as well. If youâre not in a hurry, you might be able to find someone that will give you closer to 20% off, especially if you wait until December (although, incentives could change, and thereâs no guarantee there eitherâŚbetter likelihood, yes). If you like the car and need it soon, this deal is decent.
Good to know. Last question, would you guys say that SoCal dealers will have lower base MFs? My other option is to fly to the bigger LA area to get one, although not sure if they are able to give the same amount of discount off MSRP as this one.
MF is set by BMW, its 00166, but dealers can mark them up, SoCal vs greater LA vs rest of the US its always the same base MF.
