Is this a good deal?

I need help putting these numbers into the lease calxulator. The A-plan number seems low for Elite.

Those are S-Class numbers, that is a bad deal as far as I can tell

Wow that’s reaaaaaaallly bad. Even after throwing all these discounts at it, it’s still a bad lease. I’d try to get the purchase price with A-Plan down to something like 73k, but even at 4k less it still wouldn’t be good.

I come up with 28k depreciation over 36 payments for about $775/mo without the finance fees, so $900 seems about right.

Can there be a dealer discount along with A plan?

The lease price is December Lease Sale price: $63,771.

What if I add MSD’s?

I contacted the Finance Manager on Saturday to tell him that his A-Plan numbers did not look like A-plan Elite.

He said that he would have better numbers today, as he couldn’t find an invoice for $83,720.

From what they showed you above, you are essentially paying sticker price. The dealership has applied Zero discounts, everything is coming from Volvo. You should be trying to get another 5% off MSRP at a minimum. If you’re looking at this I would highly recommend you apply MSD’s and lower the MF to .00077 and that will make a significant difference. Lastly 36 months is not a good term for Volvo’s, look at either 30 or 39 months and if you’re OK with it even check out the 24 month numbers.

The challenge with getting good lease pricing on the T8 is finding one with very few options. The base T8 are ~64K and ~69K. For these base models, If you apply a 10% discount from MSRP + all the incentives, you come up with a decent lease price (<$500). But when the MSRP is 80K instead of 65K, the cost equation changes. If price is your biggest concern, it might be less expensive to have one built for you at the 6% A-plan discount (with fewer options) then to try to deal on one on the lot with 15K in options.

Wow I had a $100k 740e going for less than that…
