I think it’s only “terrible” because Volvo was giving these things away in late 2017.

In reality, it’s a 1% deal and you’re getting a big discount along with almost no rent charge. The 50% residual hinders this from being better.

Only way to do better is push for more discount, but 23% seems like a lot.

There is $5,750 in incentives. 14% off MSRP is not that great on a loaner, 16% is doable.

Lol it’s 10:30 on the east coast this whole discussion is a waste of time.

Hopefully they carry over the program and OP can negotiate a higher discount.

Thanks for comments. If only we can turn back time… some of us would probably snag two. Agreed, there are better deals out there (eg. Infiniti), but I don’t know how I could have done better for this specific car. Unfortunately, residuals are very bad. Hope I don’t kick myself in Jan when the numbers are released. Thanks again for comments and insight. I don’t pick up the car until Saturday… so if I needed to back out I might only lose 500.

Did volvo upgrade their website when looking at inventory? I don’t see the payment calculator with the incentives anymore.

Yeah, it takes you straight to the closest dealer’s website. You need to build your car to see calculator. But it will not show it for most 2018s.

Probably the poster placed a deposit but those should be refundable.
