New to leasing, I was wondering what you can tell me about this lease deal my dad got (MA area):

2018 Subaru Forester 2.5i Premium (MSRP around 28K, their site tells me starting at $25,695, but my dad says that the dealer told him it’s not base model, but my dad can’t remember how it’s not base)
36 mo, 12k/yr
199/month
0 down, 0 fees (but trade in 2010 Forester Premium for $5500, blue book value is 5100-5700)
His credit is not pristine, mid 600s

Take your trade to CarMax to get a 3rd party analysis, you have no idea what it’s really worth

That’s a good point, thanks. It’s 98K, but I’ve seen higher mileage ones for much more.
