2018 MDX tech with lease turn in early

Hi, I am currently working a deal and would like to know how I am doing as I am new to the site and lease negotiations.
Acura MDX tech
MSRP - 51595
Sale price 45,000
Gross cap cost - 48,939

3500 down that seems to mostly go towards fees I made them lay out for me (which also did not add up when asked for it broken down)
The Fees add up to 4645 not 3,939 as I was told

They want 595$ a month
I must include I have a lease I am over mileage on by 5k and I am also attempting to return it 8 months early. They are saying that they are taking care of the payments however I’m not sure what is hidden within these numbers.

Does this sound like a decent deal because of my current lease turn in?

No way Acura forgives 8 payments so most if not all are being rolled into your new lease. It is like paying for 2 cars.

That’s what I thought, however they are not showing me these numbers. I’ve asked them multiple times to lay out the fees for me and asked about the 8 payments many times. Their reply was that the 3600$ in payments has nothing to do with my fees and money down. Any advice ?

They are not making 8 payments for you. AFS waives only a max of 3 payments and that offer becomes available when you are within 5 exact months of lease due. And they have a system in place where you can bypass the dealer, call AFS and ask them to connect u to lease maturity center and inquire yourself. Basically with 8 monthly payments left, you are not even getting a waiver for those 3 payments. All 8 are being rolled in.
Heres my deal from Nov 2017 on 2017 ADV MDX with running boards added $55k MSRP, I had 5 months of payments of $524 left on my TLX, 2 were rolled in to new lease (1028), payments with 0 due at signing and no payment due with simple drive off $589 which includes 6% FL tax. Acura waived the last 3 payments, and I had 6600 miles left from my Tlx for the remainder of the 5 months of lease which they rounded up to next 1000 and basically rolled over 7k miles to my new MDX lease.
If you are over, Acura has loyalty reward of waiving up to 7500 miles as well I think. Double check your old contract or call AFS.

What is your current monthly payment ? on the current lease? and what car is it

Current lease monthly payment is 450$ a month on a 2016 MDX tech . I’m over mileage by 5k already that’s why I’m trying to work the deal. I messed up only going with 10k miles last time

He made it sound like I was crazy on the phone for asking him to do a better sale price/ get rid of some fees to bring my payment down

Go to a different dealer. WHat state are you in ?

With 8 payments left and over mileage by 5k, I hate to say this bud, but any dealer will try to run from it.

Yeah they don’t want me out yet maybe that’s why they are not working with me so good, maybe I’ll wait until 3 payments are left if I don’t get any further and go from there… figured I would do a number check to see what you guys thought
