2018 Jeep Compass Lease Deal: $99 per month for 24 months with $3,799 due at signing.
Came across the deal on edmunds via advertisements. Has anyone researched this? Looking for a SUV, its kind of a switch and bite since they did not indicate the miles per year in the ad. Any ideas?
the $3800 due at signing effectively adds $115 to the $99 per month, which makes this deal $215ish per month with zero down. There’s definitely better pricing to be had, do some research on the car’s MSRP, incentives, MF, RV and also search in the forum for this car to see what others may have gotten the car for.
its plus tax title license and fees too so your effective payment probably goes to 300… not good.
There’s due at signing and there is due at signing. I’ve seen local lease ads for stuff like such and such per month with $3k due at signing, then in small print “excludes taxes, fees, etc.”. So it’s basically garbage.
Call the dealership ask them total cost with only first payment due at signing and absolutely everything else rolled in, then you’ll know your real figure. I am not surprised a jeep compass can be had for $2-something. Keep an eye on the miles and overage cost.
