At that price point I’d opt for the deluxe tech package, you can find them for around $56k and they have a ton of more options than just two screens you’ll hardly ever use.
Check for the rebates in your area, calculate how much you need for them to take off as a discount to get you to the monthly payment that you want.
Also, see if you qualify for VPP, that will definitely help.
I would second this. The deals weren’t this good on the qx60 at this time last year. So yes the OP would pay 40/mth extra for the privilege of ending the lease early and potentially avoid buying tires. But the risk is the replacement vehicle might be 100 to 150 more in 24 months.
Well, the 2019 will be in showrooms very soon and I am not sure if they will be making the electric version so I was hoping to capture it now. But I’ll wait and monitor it. My lease is up in December too so I’ll wait to see my options.
Just FYI, if tires are a concern, was talking at a GM today about the wear and tear coverage and the $700 package covers tires at the end of the lease. I get it that its $700 out of pocket, but it covers more than just the tires and at that price I think maybe a good value? Just throwing it out there for you all to make your own informed decision.
It covers worn down tires or damaged tires? A lot of those plans cover damaged but not regular wear and tear. The other problem is that if your tires wear down a few months prior to return. Are you going to drive on bare tires for months waiting till return?
They have two coverage options. One is end of lease wear and tear and includes coverage on worn down tires.
Option 2 is more expensive by $40.00 or $50.00 bucks and does not include coverage on worn down tires but will fix covered item as the occur (such as a lost key, you get one reissued, or a ding/scratch, they will repair during lease term)
Fair point on riding bald tires waiting for the lease to end. But if it were me and I’m 4 months out to returning the car, I would probably try my luck and stretch it. I guess another option would be to get a used set off craigslist to hold you through
I think the selling price includes the trade so this thread may be misleading if people are thinking they can get the same vehicle for 278/m. OP can correct me if I’m wrong.
I had a few grand of positive equity on the JX…and I wanted to apply it towards MSDs, but the dealer kept coming up short about $1500 with their math, so i requested to get a check back for the equity and pay the MSDs+ 1st Payment on my card
Will you be willing to ask your sales person if they can be contacted for a similar deal? I am interested and going through a nightmare with my lexus right now.
Wow, just wow!! What an amazing deal. It’s over 80 less than the great deals on Qx60 that others have posted…(around $360).
I just finished my Q50 lease and I have VPP too. I am going to try and see if the dealer will come close to this, even though 95% of the time I’m in the car by myself…
It cost about 600-700 to ship a car from Texas to California, I wonder if they are willing to ship.
