Because of different incentives, it is actually better to buy the SEL this month. However, if a lease is mandatory, i would look at the SE model. Lease cash on it is 2500 vs 1500 for the SEL. Both have 750 sales event cash in the Chicago area.
Your current deal is very good if that is the model your MIL desires. Loyalty cash is an additional $1000 if that is a factor.

Thank you for your input. Yes she would prefer to lease vs. buy. The SE didn’t have the features she was interested in (heated seats, remote start) so we looked at the SEL. Thanks.
