2018 BMW X1 xDrive28i Loaner (MSRP:$38,895 ; $399/36 months/10K | $0 true)

Got a call from a dealer … don’t have much details except the following so wanted to check with the folks here

2018 BMW X1 xDrive28i Loaner (MSRP:$38,895 ; Offered 36 months/10K @$399 (0 drive off)

He’s insisting for me to come down and he will do better. But I am not really sure as if he will come in my Encore/Equinox budget or even close.

Can any expert comment on what’s the right price for the lease on 36months x 10K miles.

bumping up to hear from fellow LHers

Not nearly enough information. What’s the selling price negotiated before incentives? What incentives are applying. How many miles are on the vehicle. At first glance it doesn’t look like a good deal at all. You need to aim for close or over 20% off. Tons of X1 loaners floating around. you might need to do more due diligence on this website, KBB, truecar, autotrader, and cargurus for comparables to hone in on a good selling price.

Just remember, premium fuel and higher insurance rates cost factors when going from the Chevy to a Bimmer.

EDIT: I’m an idiot and thinking this was an X3 deal.

I’d recommend going 24 month/10k, its at a 67% residual which is gonna make it a lot cheaper. Also, look for some 2017’s, they have 3k incentive on them rather than the 1k (or maybe 1.5k I’m not sure) that 2018s have to offer.

Just for reference, our loaded 2016 X1 loaner lease is $348 for 36/15k. We did put $900 acquisition fee down.

I was offered $350 with $1000 down and I walked out … didn’t let me keep the quote so my apologies don’t remember sale price, my, residual etc.

That would be dependent on the discount provided. A 67% 24 month term is not a guarantee to be less per month than a 36 month term.
