Hi Hackrs,
New to the community and not as well versed as I need to be.
I have just visited a BMW dealer in North NJ.
They have a 2018 X1 xdrive28i with around 4000mi.
It has heated steering wheel, nav, heated seats.
The MSRP is around 37,000 (according to the associate.)
What we have discussed
10k/36m
MDAS: 1000
Monthly: $400
No hidden fees, just $1000 down and $400 a month.
I know there is more info I am missing and need to get, but not 100% sure what.
I didn’t sign any paperwork, just verbally acknowledged this deal and said if I find better, I am going to negotiate. The guy understood.
I have no idea if this is a good deal. If I can be pointed in the right direction or what I can negotiate, let me know.
TIA.
You need the full MSRP, the selling price, MF, breakdown of what incentives are being used. Then everyone can help make a better decision on if its good.
That’s terrible. Reach out to @nextlevelautobrokers or @nyclife
terrible deal. x2 has better rebates and even the 330i if you are open to the sedan
The x2 is a hard no for me. I can’t get over the lack of headspace. I’m not opposed to sedans, I’ll see what they have to offer on that. Thank you for the info.
Ok will look into all of that tomorrow. This is fairly new, at least the whole deep diving into the numbers part. I used to just jump into a lease without a care in the world. So thank you
I would look for the 330 then. They seem to have the higher lease rebates and residual.
Ok will check it out tomorrow. For sake of curiosity for my x1 deal. With the little info I have what would a good pmt look like. I know I’m missing a lot of vital info
If lack of headspace is an issue in the X2, then it certainly will be in the 330.
On the x1, $37k is not the MSRP. Maybe selling price. So until we know the actual MSRP, it is impossible to target a payment. Also need to know what incentives you qualify for.
Ok. Will look into everything whn I go back today. Thank you for answering
There was just an X1 loaner posted to marketplace for N.J. at $256/month! 42k msrp
That’s a way better option
have you driven the X1? Drives like
I’m in a loaner X1 now, X2 drives better than the X1, however the X1 does have a lot more head room.
Yeah. I test drove a 320 and the x1. I preferred the x1. I know the x2 drives nicer and sportier, but I think it is hideous and truly the headspace issue drives me insane. I have a mazda cx5 right now, so anything is better than that at the moment.
I think you’re giving BMW too much credit if you think it’s going to blow the CX5 out of the water.
Agreed. My friends all prefer the x2, but I think the x1 is far more handsome as they say.
