2018 Bmw 330e retired loaner

Hi hackrs,

First post looking for opinions on:

2018 BMW 330e retired loaner

**MSRP: $55745
**Selling Price: $48996
**Monthly Payment: $410 tax 7.75% included
**Down Payment: $1000 includes 1st month
**MSD: none
**Incentives:$1500 loyalty $3000 lease credit ($2000 I performance?)

**Months: 24
**Annual Mileage: 10k
**MF: .00156
**Residual: 67%

**Zip Code:92630
**Leasehackr Score: 11.8

Looks like you’re getting the buy rate, which is good. The available incentives in your area this month are $3000 lease credit, $2000 iPerformance, and $1500 loyalty.

The discount is not enough though. Looks like you’re only getting a 12.1% discount which is not really enough. Since this is a 2018 model, If you need a car and are looking to be reasonable, close 15-18% before incentives seems fair. Hackr status starts coming in around 20+% off before incentives, but may not be doable right now on a 2018.

I’m guessing the loyalty and incentives from BMW are regional?

They seem to still be $750 and $2,000, respectively here in Texas.

Yes they are thanks to @BMW_Dave. These are the socal current incentives

It seems in the midwest, loyalty is only $750 vs $1500 for the coasts. I noticed in the south the incentives were less than elsewhere as I was quoted $2000 vs $5000.

Seems decent. Did you have the acquisition fee waived in lieu of increased mf?

No. This is what they claim as an “all in” deal.

See if you can get the mf down to 0.00156.

No go on the MF reduction

So what are you going to do?

Tough call I’m not in dire need of a car.

Sit tight and see what the end of the month looks like.

Where did you account for the fact that this has miles on them? Your residual should be less than 67%…

Mileage is under 5000. According to dealer and other posts here no penalty

That is not true AFAIK. All the loaners (With 500-5000 miles) will take a hit of .25$ per miles and for loaners > 5000, there is a 4% residual hit as well as .25$ per mile >5000. So please make sure that the lease payments are calculated right to avoid last minute surprises. Do your research in these forums…

If it is the case then I walk from the deal. Those are the numbers presented to me.

There is a mileage adjustment at 25c/mi if the car has under 5k miles. Is the dealer in CA? If so, doc fee is capped at $80 and there is no way DMV/license fees are over $1k for a $50k vehicle.

He explained it as total taxes. I asked for his lease worksheet, did not provide.
