2018 Audi A4 Lease Help

Hi all, I’m new to the forum and did a lot of reading before posting this picture. I’m in the Pittsburgh PA area and got the below deal from a local dealership on a 2018 A$.
The car has the black optic package with MMI technology package.

Looking for feedback from the forum members if its a good deal or not…thanks!!

You need a much bigger discount on the sales price

Money factor is credit tiered. What is yours here? .00081 or .00101 or something else?

Have you searched the forum for other A4 deals and quotes?

Thank for the quick turnaround guys…the money factor is something I do not have but i can circle back with the dealership. You mentioned its credit tiered, not sure if it helps but my credit score is 800+ but again a credit check was not run at this point.

I did and what i really got was that audi’s dont lease well. I do see where you are coming from but being a noob it was a bit difficult for me looking at other folks deals and align to what i’m getting offered.

Apart from the 2450 off on sales price they offered a 4K rebate since I’m leasing a BMW 335 today. I can definitely push for more and I’m sure they’ll have the standard response of “i’m losing money on the car with the current deal”.

That is awful. Should be 594-599 with 0 down.

That’s good. But they can offer that rebate along with a much more aggressive sales price. Also consider putting down MSD to lower the payment more.

Will do, thanks!! Also another dealership in this area has the same car and I’m going there today to see what kinda deal they can offer. will definitely try to get details on MSD and money factor as well.

also the dealership gave me this paper when i tried negotiating.

I would suggest negotiating over email/phone rather than doing it in person. It’s something I learned on this forum and it made leasing my last car so much easier and saved me a ton of time and hassle.

@pensfan83 - looks like we have someone shopping Audi in the 'burgh. Do you have a dealer recommendation? I know your preferred group was just bought, right?

You have to use the calculator. You have to see what % discount (before rebates) they got on the selling price. Then see what rebates were applied.

RV and Money Factor are available online, in places like Edmunds forums. MSD will bring down your MF by .00005 each IIRC

Thanks for the heads up. I do have one and it isn’t the dealer listed on the invoice/floor plan sheet.

@jsingh I went through Day Audi and was very pleased with the sales and service. Since I purchased from them though they were bought out by a large dealership group (Lithia) based out of the PNW so I don’t know if their operating model has changed in anyway. There’s only 4 Audi dealers in the Greater Pittsburgh area and 2 of them are controlled by a dealer group that does “clear cut pricing”, so they won’t really negotiate. You may need to go expand your search outside of Pittsburgh to get your deal though.

Also, you should validate your RV and MF on Edmunds as @max_g notes. The moderators there will also share what, if any, incentives are available and the qualifications (e.g. loyalty, conquest). From the sheet it looks like they are giving you a sale price of invoice+$500. Search the forum to see what others have been getting on the sales price, you may need to search sites external to LH too; there’s a reason Audi deals are few and far between here (they don’t lease particularly well).

Lastly, I can message you the salesman I worked with at Day if you want.

I would also strongly suggest looking up in Cleveland to lease; I’ve had some good, but limited, experience with Audi Middleburg Heights.

Thanks @pensfan83!

Thank you for the detailed response. I’ll definitely try to expand my search radius as @28firefighter mentioned. T
I’m planning to stop by at Audi of Pittsburgh on Liberty Av after work but would highly appreciate if you can share the contact for Day Audi and I’ll see what kind of inventory they have.

Yep, I’ll send it over. As part of any deal you should also consider MSD’s to lower the MF. I had to explain them to the dealer but they accepted them.

Also, Audi of Pittsburgh is affiliated with the dealer group that does not really negotiate. If you bring them a lower offer they’ll just shrug their shoulders at you.

Or Chicago. We have much more competitive dealers, so it’s worth the trip. Figure 12% to 14% off MSRP before incentives.

I might just do that, I reached out to some dealerships in Cleveland and Columbus but will try Chicago as well.
