I’ve been lurking for a couple of months but first post here. My Q50 sport is due at the end of this month so was looking for something in the same ball park with payments no more than $400/mo. After a few weeks of back and forth emails with some bumps along the way, I arrived at this deal.
MSRP = $40, 360 (summer of Audi)
Payment = $400 (tax included)
DAS = $400 (first month only)
I’ve made quite a few assumptions here because the dealer has not given me an actual breakdown. They won’t because they’re “afraid I’ll just use their quote to shop around a better deal”. This sounds sketchy to me but I figured I could get all the numbers by back tracking and using the numbers from Edmunds. I put the market allowance in the untaxed incentives but it probably should go on top of the selling price I think. I just wanted to get an estimate of how much off MSRP I was getting.
Like I said, this is my first time putting real effort into getting a good lease so I would like some advice from you pros. Do you think this is any good? Also, I know Audi can do MSDs. How do I approach this subject with the dealer? Just ask them how it will affect the lease after we get to the final number? Thanks in advance for the help guys, I’m really just a noob here.
I thought incentives/MF/residuals changed monthly and didn’t know I could lock in a rate for the next month. Only problem is there is limited stock of this vehicle left and someone else might bite.
Probably but also, where are you? Are you in a major market? Obviously allocations are lighter in some places than others. You can check incoming stock on an Audi dealer’s website. It’s the models listed without prices.
Florida so pretty major although I don’t see any models without prices on their site. What about the possibility that they’re trying to get rid of it before month’s end to make some type of dealership sales bonus?
Well if Miami it’s major market, the rest not so much.
It’s a good price regardless so honestly just lock it up. The MF might drop next month, but you’re still getting a deal. And who knows - maybe incentives go down to make-up for MF.
