I was offered the following deal on a 2018 5.40i xdrive M-sport BMW, if anyone can chime in if this is a good deal. Offer is in Dallas Texas.
MSRP: $69,125
Dealer Discount to $64,200.
Rebates - $3,000 (lease and loyalty)
Money factor - 0.00166
Residual - 61%
Adj Cap Cost - $65,906
Due at signing - $1100 (1st month and registration)
Invoice price $64,890
Sales tax rate - 6.25%

Doesn’t look very good. Shoot for at least 10% off before incentives, buyrate MF and ask for tax credits (this alone can possibly save $100/month).
This deal was including tax credits. Based on their reaction - they were even hesitant on matching the current % off (~7).
Based on my brief browsing on leases in Texas vs other states, it seems there aren’t very good deals here compared to other areas. We also pay sales tax on the entire sales price up front here - not sure if that might be the difference in deals I have been seeing.
