2017 X5 Executive Demo/Loaner Lease

Long time listener, first time caller. These boards have been super helpful to me, so I wanted to share my deal in case it helps others! I think it’s a pretty solid one.

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2017 BMW X5 sdrive35 - Executive Demo/Loaner Car w/ under 5,000 miles
MSRP: $68,470
Selling Price: $57,000 (~17% discount)
Rebates: $3000 lease, $1000 loyalty
Months: 36
Annual Mileage: 10,000
MF: .000152
Residual: 56.5% (based on odometer)
Total Due At Signing: $1,000 (first month payment and registration)
Monthly Payment (incl. tax): $664 (note: I’m in Texas, so I had to roll in tax on full sales price)

Nice deal. I’m in TX as well. Can you tell me which dealer you worked with?

@penet05 - I pm’ed you

Even I am in TX and looking for a bmw so can you please pm me

Nice. I’ve had a hard time consistently getting 17% off 2017 X5 loaners with various dealers. Was that model already heavily discounted or did you have to grind them down? Did the dealer indicate 17% was a stretch vs. that’s what appropriate discount should be?

Thanks for the post.

Their first offer was terrible. Then they came back to me with the deal that I described above, which I think is easy to get right now because they want to get rid of their loaner inventory. I pushed for more, but they were firm. I knew it was a pretty good deal and really liked the options on the car, so I took it.

Just wondering if you ask if they had any tax credit available for that model?

As far as I know they did not

Great job, X5 for less than 1% and only 1k at signing is a good deal, especially with Texas tax

Good to know. I’ve got to imagine the same – wanting to get rid of the loaner inventory.

I’m hoping to push for more this weekend.

Well done! I’m hoping to replicate a 2017 X5 deal this weekend.
