Okay, so I have been playing with the calculator a bit for a new GLI. There is a dealer near me which has DSG GLIs priced at $24,395. I live in Indiana (so 7% tax I believe), and with the current MF/RV of .0005 and 52% (15k miles) I SHOULD be right around $300/month, correct? I just want to see if I’m on the right track here. Also, does that price seem good for a new GLI right now (as long as its honored). Plus we would qualify for the grad bonus of $500, so I wonder if that can be further added? Or maybe the dealer is adding that in to this listed price already…
Last question, I have just 4 payments remaining on my Passat lease (about $1200) do you think VW would waive those somehow if I lease another VW? And I am now over mileage by about 150 miles at the moment…
If I’m using it right, it’s showing me $299. But obviously at this point I don’t know exactly what all the dealer fees would be. I also don’t know if they will pay my remaining payments.
Okay Hackrs, I need some help please. I went this weekend to try to get a bit more solid numbers for a GLI, and was left pretty dissapointed. Here’s what I got…
This is for a 36/15 lease. Online the listed price of the car is $24,395. MSRP is $30,185. When I spoke about leasing, then I got the “well that isn’t the lease price” answer. So then suddenly I’m met with a selling price of $26,700. That discounted price, they tell me, is also taking into account a $500 grad bonus we can get. Doc fee of $300, license fee of $60. RV is 52%. MF should be .0005 I believe, but I did not get that confirmed. Final monthly I got was around $375, with $1,000 out of pocket, which I find to still be very high for a GLI. Can someone tell me what I should do/shoot for?
Also, my current Passat lease has 4 payments left, and I’m already over mileage by about 300 miles…hence why I’m trying to get out of it as soon as I can. I did not have it with me Saturday, so they told me to bring it in and they’ll “see what they can do”.
