2017 Volt Premier - Help With Deal

I’m looking at leasing a 2017 Volt Premier for 36/15k. I’m located in Indiana, but wouldn’t be opposed to traveling to Illinois. I’ve been in contact with several dealers, and all of them are around the same quote. I’ll attach the quote from a dealer I’ve been going back and forth with. From his emails, “for the 36 month term, the money factor is .00062. Payment is $477 + tax. The 39 month money factor is .00062. Payment is $462 + tax. And the 48 month money factor is .00122. Payment is $458 + tax.”

I really feel like I could be doing better than this. Any help is appreciated.

You should be able to do much better. It looks like the only rebate they’re passing along is the Federal tax rebate. There’s hardly any discount off MSRP. You should be getting 10%+ off msrp off the bat. Especially on a Premier trim. Even if you don’t have the asian lease conquest rebate. You should still be getting more than $4225.

No conquest for me unfortunately. I’m new to this. Would my best strategy be to offer what’d I’d like to pay and go from there?

Check out the other thread about Volt leasing. You should be able to get $8-10k discount off msrp once the dealer discount, rebates, and federal tax rebate are taken into account.

You should be able to get to the high 200’s/low 300’s per month even with 15k miles/year.

The guy I’ve been talking to just told me GSM pricing is the lowest he can offer me right now. That brings the purchase price to $36,044.

Can someone confirm MF and residual on a Volt Premier for 36/15. I’m being told .00062 and 48% or 47% from different dealers.

I am getting similarly horrible lease deal offers in Minnesota. One of the local dealers has an LT with MSRP of $34,950 discounted on their website to $29,550. Assuming max $1500 bonus tags for the sale, and only $500 bonus tag for lease, and I would think the Dealer discount would be $30,550.

The salesman just sent me a lease offer with NO details (I have requested more details):
36 month / 10k miles
$400 a month / $0 at drive off.
$400 * 35 months = $14,000 !!!
