2017 Q50 3.0T AWD Premium

Hi Everyone -

May jump on one of the Q50 deals if I can get to a price that I think is hackr worthy. This is the offer I currently have from a dealership in central PA:

Here are the details:

39 month/15k:

MSRP: $46,100

SALE: $39,215 (includes discount and all incentives)

Money Factor: 0.00003

Residual: 48% = $22,128

Net Cap Cost $40,161 (includes title $51, registration $36, document fee $138, tire tax $5, PennDOT lien filing fee $11.13, PA local use fund $5, and $700 IFS acquisition fee).

39 mo. = $464/mo + tax

Only 1st month payment due at signing.

I believe there is more of a discount that can be had on the sale price. Thoughts on this initial offer. I’m thinking it might get better simply by waiting till closer to the end of the month as well.

I’m new here myself but reading through posts and threads leads me to believe that’s probably not a good price at about $7k off MSRP. I’d say if you could get the sales price around $35k that might be what folks here would consider hackr worthy maybe? Some hackrs can surely chime in.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, actually would love to get it slightly below $34k and then roll in the DMV fees to make the net cap cost be $34,700. That would be a reduction of almost $5,500 though and I’m not sure that’s doable…maybe later this month? I’m thinking that would put my payment at $324 + tax.

My attitude, especially after reading this and other forums the last few days, is that it doesn’t hurt to ask especially if it’s in the ballpark of what others have been able to get. I think it’s good to get some target numbers down and send them out to dealers asking if they can do it or get close. That’s what I’m planning to do. If some laugh at my price, that’s fine, I’ll move on.

That’s the right attitude. Some dealers will laugh and scoff, it’s a sales technique to take advantage of people who will cave out of sheer embarrassment. Luckily hackrs don’t give a sh!t

Well I may have just gotten my first F U from a dealer in Louisiana, at least that’s what it looks like. I offered him $45,500 on a MSRP of $60,810. He wrote back saying sorry we’re way off and we’re sticking to $60,810 and good luck. I replied that do you actually expect someone to pay MSRP?

Now we’re talking…where was this?

That’s good! You could push a bit more? I’m looking for a Red sport 400 in Texas. Best so far is $52k on $59850 and $52600 on $59150. Surely we can do better?!

Also checked pricing on a Signature Edition 3.0T AWD. Telling me there are less incentives on this trim?

39 month/15k:

MSRP: $41,820

SALE: $36,128 (includes discount and all incentives)

Money Factor: 0.00006

Residual: 50% = $20,910

Net Cap Cost $37,027 (includes title $51, registration $36, document fee $138, tire tax $5, PennDOT lien filing fee $11.13, PA local use fund $5, and $700 IFS acquisition fee).

39 mo. = $418/mo + tax

Only 1st month payment due at signing.

Way too high. Look for like 10K off msrp.

Also MF is 0.00003 not 6

Second quote is signature trim…higher MF but also higher residual. .00006 and 50% for signature AWD and .00003 and 48% for premium AWD.
