I am looking at the NX200T F sport and the QX50 2017 models. The QX50 is being redesigned for 2018 and is not best on fuel economy but has a powerful engine. The NX200T is not that powerful, the interior has leatherette but seems to be to a smooth ride.
The Chicago dealers do not budge on price easily. It seems that the east and west coast have aggressive discounts. Let me know your inputs.
NX200 T F sport ( has AWD, Nav, Premium included) :
My selling price was $39589, but I didn’t try to go lower which I am sure that I could have. This included $1500/$2000 lease cash. This offer seems to high? I do know that the MF went up in September. The residual drops quarterly, so it probably did also, not sure? MSD’s are definitely the way to go if you have the extra cash. You can save between $40-$60 per month depending upon the number and amount of the MSD’s you put down. Multiply by 36 months and you get quite the savings. $3000/$4500 in the bank at less than 1% interest earns you peanuts.
Chicago is about 375 miles from Cleveland or a 5.5 hour drive. Setting up a transport would most likely cost $450-$500. You could try and work transporting the car into the deal with the dealer if the price differential is great enough. I have transported a couple vehicles, one an Infiniti, from N Jersey in the past to garner significant savings.
I wanted to take a look at the 2018 QX50, but couldn’t wait until March. My wife leases Infiniti sedans (Q50) and loves them. A 2017 QX50 Infiniti should lease out at a fantastic rate with the newer model/style coming out next year.
Yes, I could probably look around in Ohio and Indiana. It seems QX50 could be a better deal at this point in time- the NX rides smooth though and the QX50 handles very well. Thanks much.
