Already signed, but still looking for feedback on this deal 36 months w/ 12k miles

6.25% tax (TX): $2,220

Still new to the leasing game, so just looking for where I could do better next time.

I can sense what’s coming

Is it at least a CPO vehicle?

I was offered $450 monthly after tax (8.75%) for a $49k msrp c300 coupe (sedans lease even better) without any MSD.

Just enjoy it and don’t dwell too much on your lease…

RIP

He’s also paying a lot more tax

Shoot for another $1640 off.
About $640 to get you to 16% off MSRP and $1000 for the approx mileage adjustment. This will put you on par with new car prices…should try for a little more on top for the hassle of not having a brand new car.

the deal is done…

I was lucky to get 2016 E350 loaner with 5 kmi for $416 a month (36/10). But they discounted 66k to 46K. We also pay tax on the entire car price in MD

Do mf and rv change for loaner/courtesy cars? I know that c300 this month has mf .00121 and rv 65% - for 24m/12k miles. I’m looking myself for a deal and would consider a loaner

How much due at signing?

$416: first month payment. Everything was rolled into the lease.

That is not a good deal. I don’t know how much research you did but a 41.5k msrp c300 is almost barebones. As a comparison I was offered $437/month (higher tax bracket at 8.875% and 800 at signing) for a NEW (not loaner) C300 that was 46k msrp.

FWIW, in the future it will help to consult the hacker forum first before you pull the trigger so you can avoid being featured on the “worst deals” thread.

I will say that for a Texas deal, with $0 due at signing and no MSDs, I think that’s actually a pretty decent deal.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah msrp was $43800. Premium 1, pano roof. Still not great. Thanks
