I’m in Northern California looking to lease the new 2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD without the premium equipment package. Could anyone let me know if this is a good offer from the dealer?

Selling price: $30,900
Term: 36 months
Mileage allotment: 10,000/year
Rate: 0.00095
Residual: .64 ($20,438.40)
Government (1st year DMV fees including documentation fee): $405.25
Drive off fees: $805

Total monthly payment including all taxes and fees: $384.84

You aren’t meeting the 1 % rule but ofcourse this is a new model and apparently in demand, so negotiating the selling price may not be easy.

You should try to negotiate your monthly payment to somewhere around 1% of MSRP

I believe you can get a fully loaded Outback with such payment…
