My previous lease ran out before I could nail down which vehicle I should have been looking for. I became infatuated by the new CX-5 GT and I negotiated a deal last week. I pulled the trigger. Blacked out with full parchment leather, Bose, and most options. Dealer showed me the price was at invoice. They even showed me the holdback, but would not budge there. Check it out:
MSRP: ~31,500
Selling: ~29,800
Terms: 36 / 10k
Res: 63% (~19,900 buy out)
MF: 0.008…
Drive off: 2,500 (incl taxes, fees, first payment, aqu., delivery, etc)
Monthly: 355 (incl NY tax 8.875)
HackrScore: ~8 years
Holdback: was either 304 or 307
I am still communicating with the sales manager to see if it’s possible to either convert to purchase OR change lease to 2 year term. Q: Hackrs, is this possible? At this point the bank has funded the loan/lease.
ALSO: I would transfer / takeover. All the leg work and negotiating is done. I would need most of the downpayment back, or possible trade for new pick-up. Odo at 250 miles now.
