2017 lexus rx350 12k/36mo

Let me know what you guys think. Also had a quick question about the cap

2017 Lexus RX350

MSRP: $52,539
Selling Price: $46,429.56
Rebates: $2500

Months: 36
Mileage: 12,000

MF: .00055
Residual: 56%

The cap reduction in cash is where I’m confused. Did dealer add to the cap cost so they could make it a whole number?

Amount Due at Signing
1st Month Payment: $452.50
Security Deposit: $4275.00
Fees & Insurance: $531.75
Upfront Tax: $288.19
Cap Reduction (cash): $452.65
TOTAL INCEPTION FEES: $6000
Rebate as Cap Reduction: $2500
TOTAL DRIVE OFF: $8500

Total cash required on Delivery: $6000

So total drive-off should be 1st month, fees/insurance, upfront tax and?

A lot of things seem off already. Where are they getting $4275 security deposit? Your total drive should just be taxes, acquisition and first month. Acquisition can be rolled in too actually. What’s fees and insurance? Documentation fees? Depending on state, most of the times it should be no more than $100. Total drive off is insane…

9 MSD payments of 4275

9 MSD isn’t possible unless they are marking up the MF on you.

Max 9 for Lexus unless it’s changed since August 2017. There are a few threads on here stating max 9.

MF is .00055
MSD reduces it by .00072

Base MF is 0.00055, you only need 6 MSD to get it down to 0.00007. Dealer marked up MF as other people mentioned here.

Hi I just received a rx350 F proposal and was wondering if someone can tell me it is any good?

2017 RX 350 F
Selling price 53,975.00
Total Rebates 3,000
Total Cash including tax, tags etc 7,000
Residual Amt 33,987.96

Monthly Payment $469.97
12,000 miles a year
36 months

What was the MSRP? What is part of the total drive off cash? That number seems super high if it doesn’t include MSDs.

The MSRP of the vehicle in question is $59,628, and payment 469 a month…
This is super high is what you are saying?

I believe Jon is referring to your $7,000 down.

Did you use MSD or was it a down payment?

From the dealer: the 7k down is what is needed in order to get the monthly payment to that, and that includes tax and tags.

If there’s no MSD in there, you have a large downpayment (generally a no-no in leasing) to get that payment. Did you go into the dealership and say I’m trying to pay $500 a month? Assuming $2,000 of that is for taxes/tags your actual monthly payment would be more like $600 month. You should ask for a breakdown of the $7,000 like the OP provided in their initial post.

Chances are it’s a down payment, not MSD. Tell the salesperson that you want to apply max MSD. First, you need to see the MF and RV of the deal.

That’s a terrible deal then.
