In the market for one of those near LA. MSRP in the $52-55k zone, what’s the best deal I can get?
Thanks.

The best deal you can get will be subject to your ability to negotiate, and whether you qualify for incentives.
Tomorrow is the last day for dealer incentives on 2017 model year with Lexus. Good luck.
Thanks yes I’m going to go tonight, was just wondering what I should be looking for in terms of MF. I have excellent credit. I’ve seen some people getting monthly in the $480 range, that’s what I’d like with $0 down. I dont mind putting a few security deposit down.
In November they were going for 13% off prior to incentives in larger markets. I don’t know the market now, but I would search for dealers that have a large supply knowing the lease support is getting pulled and they will get stuck with undesirable inventory…
There’s a $2300 incentive until tomorrow on 2017 models. If I can negotiate the price down 13% with one security deposit I end up with a $492/mo inc. taxes which is pretty great but there’s a $1200 drive-off fee (first month payment + $480 registration ad hoc fee + $220 on cap cost reduction fee). Is the drive-off negotiable?
I’ve been trying fairly hard on east coast and getting any more than 11 percent is impossible in my opinion.
Just got my new lexus tonight. @tekelman you’re right I got 11% off. Final payment 509/mo
They didn’t have the 2017 model I wanted so I got a 2018 instead.
MSRP: $53500
Cap cost: $47460
Downpayment: $2200
4 years, 48k miles (Was $535 for 3y, 36k)
(I had to add wears and tears, not included in the $509. After 4 years with 2 young kids who knows if they destroy the interior of the car…)
I thought I was happy with the monthly but looking at the leasehacker calculator, the monthly should have been $50 lower.
Sorry, but that’s a terrible deal. Sounds like the RX isn’t a good lease at this time. Last year, much more expensive models ($59k+ F-Sports) were had for much less.
Why would you do a 4 year lease? Chances are another term would have been cheaper. Considering Lexus reliability, you might want to drop wear and tear and consider buying it at the end. The RX is a great car. I agree with Jon though, this is awful
Lease deals on Lexus are terrible now. See what happens next month with year end.
Ouch… That’s not a good deal @carzie
You should’ve walked away… They would have come back lower today for sure.
I wish now that I’m thinking about it but I wasn’t sure what payment to expect, I looked online what people were paying it was around $500-$550 (at least what I could see on sites like swap a lease), doesn’t mean they go a good deal… Damn
Oh well at least the car is super comfortable and it’s my first luxury car, feels so good to sit inside
What do you guy think the terms should have been to be a “decent” deal?
Don’t worry about this now. Nothing good can come from it. Just enjoy your car.
Exactly. Enjoy the new car, and learn from the experience.
Haha thank you, appreciate it. I have a lease on a Ford Edge expiring in September, I’ll be sure to come back here before and not make any rush decision at the dealership.
You work @ lexus dealer?
Does lease cash go towards selling price of the car?
Or your out of pocket payment? (Like a rebate?)
No. (20 Characters…)
is their year end march or april?
I believe, March. But so far March seems to be worse than December as far as discounts.
