I am trying to get the below deal from the dealer. Very close(need $1000 more discount on the Sale price). Will this be a good deal to take
2017 Infiniti QX50 with Premium and Premium Plus package
MSRSP: 40,640
Sale Price: 30640 (Includes VPP of $1500 discount)
MF: 0.00003
Residual: 51%
Monthly: $277 (inclusive of taxes)
Drive Off: Approx $850 (first mnth payment, fees )
Does the car has any miles on it? The deal seems pretty good in terms of the Sales Price offered by the Dealer. Are we expecting the Sale Price to be around 29K?
it is a new car. Right now the dealer has given me the sale price including the VPP discount as $31640. I am thinking if I can ask $1000 discount more which will bring my monthly to $277
Opps. This is a 2017. Didn’t realize this was the outgoing model. Considering the new model is a significant upgrade over the 2017, I would either negotiate on a new model or ask for more Off this one.
it is a new 2017 model. Current best quote I have is for $305 including the taxes. I was trying for $277, but before I try, I wanted to find out if that will be good
I get that…I was replying to the other guy, which insinuated you should hold out and try to negotiate on the new model/body style. You’re not getting that one at 305/mo, let alone 277 was my point.
can I ask which dealership you are dealing with? I think is still a bit high, I would still try to push it down. tell them drive off on them and you go for it. Again, this is their most dated car, which has an over 10 years old technology inside.
take the offer to van nuys, and tell them you will come to them when they give you the deal with drive off on them. I am actually in the market for one of those as well, but have not started to shop around yet. My target is 250 (including vpp) with 0 down. is pretty aggressive but we will see.
I know is extremely aggressive but under current circumstances (new 2019 model out, current model extremely dated, VPP) not impossible. I am pretty sure Infiniti will come very soon with additional incentives on the old model, but I dont want to wait until the inventories are down to 2-3 cars, where the negotiation is more difficult and also I might not be able to choose the options i am looking for. I remember as the Q50 came out, they were leasing the q40 for 99 per month with 4k total due at signing!!
