2017 i3 Rex $5K drive off and $137 a month. Good deal?

I am looking at Volts and i3s. Volts are going for so cheap these days, but my wife likes the i3 better.

I got the following deal going on with a San Diego dealer.

MSRP: $49,455 (i3 Rex with parking package)
Selling Price: ~$41,455 ($8k off or 14%)
Additionally Rebates: $7,500 (Fed EV rebate)
Net cap cost: $33,955
30 months/10k miles residual: 61%
MF: .00085 with 7 refundable MSDs
Due on signing: $5000 includes MSDs, registration, $80 doc fee, tax on cap cost reduction.
Payment: $137 incl tax

After the CA Rebate of $2,500 and BMWCCA rebate of $500, I am looking at a 0 down and $169 a month incl tax when all said and done.

I think this is a good deal. Thoughts?

Do you work for a corporate company? That’s a good discount off MSRP for an i3!! Only thing that would sweeten this deal even more would be loyality or corp fleet!

I work for Wells but I am not using a corp fleet discount. If I was buying a MBZ, I would be using the FEP discount for sure. I also didn’t use a loyalty or college rebate. YE and rain are my fiends today. I guess the dealer just wants to make quota with a mini deal.

Why aren’t you using the corporate incentive?

I used the BMW corp discount recently on another deal, and I did not think they would allow it again. Guess what… they will honor it. Thanks @willwar14. I reduced my drive off to $3,500 which includes 7 MSDs. After all rebates, my deal will be zero down and $119 a month incl tax for a brand new 2017 $49,455 i3 Rex.

Nice man! I was gonna say, my mom qualifies for it and she’s used it twice.

Is this for a lease or purchase? On leases isn’t the leasing company is the owner and thus gets the 7500 rebate?

Solo, does your sales price of $8k discount include any incentives? Doesn’t look like it but want to make sure.
I also qualify for the Corp discount and loyalty so I might try to replicate the deal but with $2500 due at sign.

Thanks for info!

I have a 2015 BEV (49k) and after CA rebate, mine comes out to $180 so your numbers are pretty sweet.

Here’s the deal our team got in SoCal

Just got home with the car about 1 hour ago. Price went up a couple of bucks from my last post. Here are the final numbers in Alex’s format:

@Johnny - I had no incentives except for the Fleet discount. No loyalty or college rebates.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I had read somewhere that the corporate fleet incentive and BMW CCA cannot be combined and unfortunately…

Dayum… you are right. No BMWCCA rebate due to the corp fleet deal. Oh well… Live and learn. Thanks for letting me know. Saves me the hassle of filling out the BMWCCA rebate app.

@davewade - it’s a lease deal. BMW passes it along as a $7,500 rebate to the customer. You just have to pay taxes on it. That’s the only bummer about it…

Good to see the great discounts on the i3. In Sep, the dealers were still holding on to close to msrp for the 2017 models with larger battery. I guess they came down to earth quick.

Fill it out and submit. Sometimes they give it to you if you’re lucky. It happens!

Hi there, any chance you can share which dealer or CA offered this deal? I would love to get one @ this # . Thanks!

Doubt you will be able to replicate since BMW ended MSD program last month.

Thanks for the response. Correct on that info! No more MSD’s as of May 1st. Best # I got so far is $4700 drive off and $448 a month taxes inc. for 59k window. 17 i3. Hoping to get that drive off down to mid 2’s and I’ll pull the trigger
