2017 Honda Civic LX Auto $139/mo

Is this a good deal for a 2017 Civic LX Auto?
$139/mo for 35 mos. 1st mo free,
$2150 total due at signing which includes: Va sales tax is 4.15%, registration and title roughly $110, acquisition fees is $595 and dealer processing fees is $699.
$12k miles/yr $0.15/mile after that.

FIRST post - Sorry for noob lack of details

Find out more details… Sales price, incentives, MF, etc.

This is pretty much they gave me and asking me to come on :frowning:

Just insist that you want the numbers before coming in. It’s BS what they are telling you.

I sincerely appreciate your expert help!
the numbers above don’t provide the whole picture? I consider myself a very savvy/responsibile shopper. I want to understand - what other number would make this a good or bad deal? Thank you VERY MUCH for the education.

I told you what will make it possible to evaluate. Sales price, MSRP, residual, MF, incentives, breakdown of what is due at signing

While I agree there is a definite lack of detail the deal is pretty solid, but not exceptional. Honda’s don’t lease that well and adding the bank and processing back in he still should be below 1%. Op I would push to eliminate the doc fee. If they agree take without hesitation.

Try getting zero drive offs and tell them they only have one hour to agree otherwise the deal is off.

What’s the MSRP and the agreed price you are paying for the car? There is 1700 lease cash on this car now, where is that going? The drive offs are normal probably for Virginia given they tax you for the entire MSRP, but the doc fee is high. Virginia has no limits on what they charge for that, should be negotiable.

With that said, the deal is good, if you really don’t wanna get technical, you can sign and know you got a good deal. Like an above poster said, if you can get rid of the doc fee, that will save you almost 700 in drive off fees - but I really don’t see them eliminating it, likely can get some off.

No offense but this is terrible advice. Don’t threaten like this.

Thank you very much for all the replies. Unfortunately I procrastinated too much and the 2 Civics they had are sold :frowning:

Hi, where do you see the $1700 lease cash?

On the selling price, not MSRP.

I guess that’s a little better! The one thing I actually like about living in California - good leases lol

4.15% on full selling price in VA is actually, generally, less than 9.5% on rental portion in CA
Or pretty close.

I guess for me it’s less because I tend to lease cheaper monthly. I also like paying all my drive offs up front too.
