Rotolo Chevy in Fontana, CA. Ask for Sal, the Internet fleet manager. Deal ends soon!
does anyone know if these incentives will be extended beyond 1/3?
Nobody knows except General Motors. It’s like rolling the dice to wait
I just signed. Lt 2wd was unavailable but they gave us ls 4wd at $159 for 24 months sign and drive. We are happy. Thanks to all for the help.
Assuming the deal has now expired, congrats to all and I’m sure everyone is appreciative of the OP and others such as @bro1999, @BoardWalkNJ and others who have chimed in with advice.
For anyone who said a variation of “Not sure if it was the best deal or not,” be happy! Not every market is competitive enough to offer the same discounts off selling price before rebates. I’m sure you got a homerun compared to your local market. If you need any reassurance, just check your local craigslist for lease transfers (across brands) and see how much others have paid for such a popular vehicle segment (small Xovers)…trust me, it will be a lot more!
Anyone who scored an Equinox lease for an effective <$200 month or less, congrats, you probably leased a car cheaper than 98% of car buyers out there.
Pretty sure this Equinox deal is dead now though. I’m sure residuals have taken a hit now that it’s 2017.
If I recall correctly from last year, residuals dropped 1 or 2% from December to January. Considering the fact that the 2018s will be arriving on dealer lots in a few months, the deals might continue, but who knows at this point
I’m picking up the car today. Can anyone tell me if Chevrolet includes gap coverage in the lease? thanks
Yep, GAP included on all GM Financial leases. I’ve leased 5 Chevy’s the past year, so trust me.
First off a huge TY to this forum.
I pulled the trigger yesterday also after reading a thread and heading to Rotolo Chevy here in CA
MSRP of 31,250
3125.00 off of MSRP
4450.00 in incentives
197.20 including taxes.
1,000 down with Costco rebate
10K 24 m
Thanks to everyone here
2017 Equinox LT w/ Convenience Package
MSRP: $29,240
RV: 66% / 10k miles / 24mo
Sell Price: $22,697
MF: .0007
Drive off: $800 - $700 Costco Cash Card
Monthly: $186.42
Worked with Tricia in Buena Park, CA.
Yep, big thx to OP and everybody who contributed. Ended up with a similar deal to everybody…$700 up front incl 1st payment, docs; no down payment + $700 costco. Ended up at $180/mo including all FL taxes on a 10/24k deal.
Nothing like leasing a nice, brand-new vehicle for less than my cable bill
I’m curious how other Costco folks negotiated selling price lower than the supposed ‘supplier pricing’ with Costco. All of the dealers I dealt with refused to do any more with this price. Thankfully the $5,450 in rebates made the deal attractive enough on its own.
edit: is there any way around the 100/300 the lease contract stipulates you have to carry, insurance wise? That is one of my only gripes about these lease deals is you pay considerably more in insurance.
Is the disposition fee of $395 included in the numbers or is that a separate fee that Chevy hits you with at the end of the lease?
If the incentives such as Lease Conquest and other rebates expire in addition to lower residuals, that will significantly reduce the appeal of this deal.
I just asked the dealer to honor their online discount, which was significantly more than the Costco supplier discount. They were happy to, since they get some money back from GM using the supplier program.
Yeah, I thought I was on the high end when I closed my deal but figured they were rolling the price of paying of my lease into it. Sport Edition LT at 30,600 OTD w/ 1k at signing and $170/mo after tax with 24mo/15k per year. Glad I went with the leather. Mylink is garbage though, I wish they had Carplay built into these things, smh lol. Every time I start up it goes straight to radio never to bluetooth
