Well made a few more calls to a few dealers and no bueno. Nothing below $500 and I was getting in the $560-600 range. I might pull the trigger at $500 and see if I can knock it down on fees once I get to the finance manager sitdown
Iām starting to believe this end of the month stuff. Got a text this morning from the salesperson and he said they would reduce the MF to the .00092 I wanted and keep all the other numbers the same. $475 including NJ sales tax and only first month due at signing. Done! Took uber to CT, had to wait a bit then finally sat with the finance manager.
I was ready to say no to everything like maintenance, wheel insurance, protectant. He did ask if I wanted prepaid maintenance, I declined, and no other sell. I was kind of insulted he didnāt ask for more add ons!
Got to the buy order, $475ā¦then I said I wanted to do MSDs. He looked suprised but not insulted or questioning. I did $3000 in MSDs and payment dropped to $440!
He looked shocked at that number which makes me feel like I did good hehe.
Thank you to all the members and contributors on this forum! I never leased until last year and wow this is amazing!
One shout out to Vlad at mercedes of Fairfield, CT who revived the deal, got me the number I wanted, and was so gracious when I met him finally in person!
No one in the tristate could come close and a few said I was full of it when I told him the deal I worked out.
Drove back and this car is soooo worth the $440! I had the 16 528xi for $425 earlier this year, and this car blows it out of the water. Knowing me, Iāll try to make a few bucks on it in 6 months when the lockup from MB is over and on to the next hackr deal!
Brand new car?

Did a 2017 E300 demo with 6k miles in April. MSRP 60k. 12k miles/year 36 months, 5 months waived payments on earlier E350, 4 prepaid maint/services, silly ding package, approximately $3k sales tax credits, free unlimited wash + mini-detail at their dealership chain.
$499/month. Did put 8 MSDs - Zero down otherwise ($250 registration taxes + first month of course). This payment inlcudes tax.
2017 E300 4Matic p1 Loaner - 10k / yr
msrp: 61,245
selling price: 46,521 (8k miles loaner)
fleet discount: $2000 but included in selling price
acquisition fee: 1095
doc fee and registration: 499 (I know total rip) + $300 NJ reg fees
taxes: 6.875%
MF .00092 with auto pay adjusted to .98% with 6 MSDs ($3000)
Total drive out $3440 (6 MSDs and 1st month)
loaner in titleā¦
Mine never titled. I apologize- itās a demo infact.
Were your nj taxes rolled into the monthly payments?
yes drive off was just 3k security deposit and first month
I got the following numbers from a dealer in CT
2017 E 300 4MATICĀ®
36 month lease for 12k miles/year
$533/month inc tax with $4,052 inc tax due at signing. (The amount due at signing consists of $0.00 down payment, $533.25 first monthās payment, $895.00 Lease Acquisition fee, $375.00 Registration fee, $475.00 Doc fee and $1,773.80 Upfront Sales tax.)
msrp: $64,975
selling price: $51,988
acquisition fee: $895
Money Factor: .00122
Residual Value: $37,985
doc fee and registration: Doc $475, Reg $375
taxes: (Iām based in NY) 8.625%
So if you can beat or match that at a dealer in NY, you will save at least 400 dollars since NY caps the Doc Fee at $75 ā¦
MSD and autopay would knock that down by .00080
Thatās really good advice steevo. Thanks
If I do 5 MSGās and Autopay I get Money Factor of 0.00077 using the Lease Calculator. Then the monthly payment becomes $65 including taxes
If you get from a dealer in NY, you wonāt be able to do MSDs.
OOPS sorry typoā¦the monthly payment would be $465 including taxes
Iād max out the MSDs and roll the taxes/fees into the monthly.
