2017 Civic EX-T Lease Signing Tomorrow (Or Similar?)

I got the following lease deal over the phone. I would be signing this civic lease tomorrow (but I’ll gladly refuse if its nothing great). Also interested in anything with this price or lower such as Subaru Impreza (please share details if you know of any lease quotes).

P.S. This is my 1st time leasing so I’m not too sure on how to spot out great deals.

2017 Honda Civic EX-T (12k Miles a year/36 month lease) - NY
MSRP: 23,275
Sale Price: 20,732
Tax: 7.375%
$0 Down
Bank & DMV fees: 925
College Grad Rebate: (500)
MF: 0.0008
Monthly Payment (taxes included): $220.00

Total due at Delivery: $645 (925 for Bank & DMV fees + 220 1st month payment - 500 College Grad Rebate)

What’s the rush, especially considering you still seem undecided on the car based on the thread title. And how much feedback do you expect by tomorrow after posting at 10:02PM on a Saturday night?

And what dealer is open sunday?

You’d be surprised many are open on Sundays, just not in NY/NJ/CT

Just let him sign. Clearly he doesn’t care about the best value/deal.

Enjoy

Actually, the thing is I’ve been looking for a lease deal around low 200s for a month now. I got a call from the Honda dealership yesterday and I was told that they are having a big special and this price is only in affect if I was to sign by tomorrow; if this isn’t a great of a deal, I won’t sign :). I am pretty set on the civic but thought it might be better to explore the jetta because of its engine performance. But now, my friend suggested the subaru impreza as well but it seems that car doesn’t lease too well. What do you guys suggest? I’m flexible on the car as long as its a really good deal and from reading what others paid for the ex-t, It seemed to me that my deal was very aggressive but I wanted to run it through you guys first.

Ofcourse I do. I know my original post comes as as if I’m in a hurry but I can wait a few more weeks before I need the car. I just didn’t want to lose a great deal

Trust me this isn’t any great deal. You can easily do 205.

Really? I went to 3 different honda dealerships before getting to this price. How would I go about getting a price that low?

What’s odd is that I don’t know of any dealership NOT open 7 days a week in SoCal.

You WENT in the dealerships? why didn’t email them? on Honcker app, you can easily get with $201 (w/ tax) and $1229 due at sign(that’s without the college rebate), so with rebate is $729 due at sign. usually Honcker give pretty average deal. So I think you can push a bit more tomorrow.

I did email at the start but I wasn’t getting anywhere with them. I was emailing at the main email address on websites and a dealer would get back to me. It took a few days to get pricing so it was quicker to just show up in person. The Honcker app shows ex-t for 201?

Yea, it’s 201. Do you have the app? So leasing a car takes a lot of time. I was suggesting why not a Corolla? Yea yea the styling can’t compare with civics, but the safety features are all standard and awesome to use. Plus the lease number is a lot lower then civic.

Hey skyline,

In what sate is that Honcker deal?

Socal , California .

I see. The problem is the dealer has my credit pull report along with all the other paper work; it will be processed monday. Would it be okay to refuse it at this point and say I’m waiting unless they match that price? The sales person has worked numerous hours with me so I kind of feel bad for refusing to sign but I am also saving money.

I got a quote of 209 today with the same numbers as above; only monthly payment goes from 220 to 209. I will speak to the dealer tomorrow. But thanks guys for all your help.

Think of it this way, you could just take the better deal ASAP. You are doing them a favor by giving them an opportunity to match or beat it.

Sales person worked numerous hours… so he could work a few more minutes to get the best deal and you sign

Damn man all the lazy CO dealers take Sunday smoke breaks.

Damn, I’d get that in a second!

I’ve been working with DSR and I haven’t been able to get close to that kinda deal- even for a regular EX sedan.

(I’m in Michigan and California honda dealers don’t wanna do out-of-state registration)
