Yes I’m very happy with the deal. I was in and out of the dealership within 2 hrs with the deal in hand. If anyone is looking for a volt I would recommend Weseloh Chevy. Ask for Carmine Mirabella. A true gentleman in sales.
wongfeihong187 - That’s a great deal, I want to replicate this deal. Did you make use of Asian conquest?
Yes I had a Leaf lease that was going to expire in May. Aholes at Nissan’s conceirge service refused to tell me about their loyalty incentives (my wife is the leasee and she gave permission over the phone).
pvk1… make sure you deal with Carmine Mirabella at Weseloh Chevy. Very nice man, all up front.
Has anyone managed to score a similar deal from dealers in Northern CA?
So if no asian lease then it basically increases monthly payment by ~$80 if I read correctly?
Anyone have any luck with other Socal dealerships? I’ve tried Rydell and Keyes in the valley and neither is willing to deal. I guess I’m going to have to do the 2 hour drive to Irvine.
thanks wongfeihong187. Spoke to Carmine, do not have an Asian lease not sure what numbers I will get.
Without the $3,000 discount, you are looking at $3,000 divided by the number of months
For 24 months = $125/mo (+ interest and tax on this amount)
For 36 months = $83.3/mo (+ interest and tax on this amount)
Read this, Step #1
Arent we considering residual value % in this ?
So for Cruze and 24 months, I am assuming it will roughly be $3000 * 0.33 / 24 = $41.25 a month difference.
Please correct me if this is not right.
@chrisgo is right. You should be calculating the whole $3000 rebate divided by the month length of lease.
No, you are simply paying $3,000 less over 24 months.
Any discount from MSRP count dollar-for-dollar, first rule of getting a great lease is to lower the largest part of the payment which is (1) depreciation cost.
The RV % establishes the floor so that number really doesn’t move, you want this as high as possible (push towards MSRP)
The selling price establishes the ceiling so you want that to go down as much as possible. So you start from MSRP and stack everything here. You can also mentally add an EV incentives here as well. The RV doesn’t really factor in this part of the equation.
The big chunk of your monthly lease payment is the difference between these 2 numbers divided by the number of months.
Then all you do is add (2) interest and (3) tax (much smaller numbers typically if not in NY or GA) to get to your final monthly.
Thanks chrisgo you are right. Seems like its a warm deal if you were to add the 3000/36 + 120.
I spoke to folks at Weseloh Chevy they are willing to match wongfeihong187 but they are are asking for his/her details to look up the deal, I did not push forward as I do not have Asian conquest.
PS: Does some one know if owning an Asian car is eligible for the Asian lease conquest?
It has to be a current Asian non-luxury brand lease (it is specific brands). If you are an employee of GM, lease must be current and ending in less than 365 days.
They have another non-Asian conquest lease cash for $1,500
So if you don’t qualify for the asian conquest lease and you do have a current lease, you’re eligible for the non-asian conquest lease of $1500? I’ve been reading around and no one confirmed that. So essentially, for someone who doesn’t have an asian lease, but still have a lease, they just need to pay additional $1500 and not $3000?
The only qualification is that it’s not a GM lease ( a true conquest lease). If you have a GM lease then the rebate is only $500.
I have a GM lease and a MB lease so I guess I do qualify
Now I just need to convince the wife to get another car…
So i’ve been chatting (email and phone) with Carmine and the best I could get is $192 with a Fiat lease… I thought non-asian/non-GM lessees get $1500 in conquest cash? Carmine is telling me that the system is only showing $500… this is in San Diego. Anyone know where in California the $1500 conquest cash is good for? Thanks in advance!
My sources say Volt Competitive Lease Private Offer is $500.
Trax and Cruze and maybe more is $1500 - GM Competitive Lease Private Offer
thx! so $1500 offer is non-existent on Volts or just not available in CA?
