2017 c300 ex loaner vehicle

Hi all,

Been reading up and trying to learn a lot from this forum and have some questions about a potential deal. Currently have a CLA that I’m looking to part with and would be nice to get a mercedes for cheap to take kids to school grab groceries etc…

my local Mercedes dealership seem to be parting with their loaner and demo vehicles and on their site have this listed, I want to know the questions to ask and also how to avoid putting money down. I have no issue with putting a security deposit down as I’ve seen that recommended on this site.

Pre-Owned: 2017 Mercedes-Benz C 300 4MATIC® Sedan
$229 /Month with 10,000mi/year
Includes Remote Start!
Lease a Pre-Owned 2017 Mercedes-Benz C 300 4MATIC® Sedan (Previous Service Loaner) with ONLY $5,995 Total Down. Includes Tax and License Fees.

Ask the dealer for the following details - Selling price, acquisition fee, doc fee (and any other fees), residual value/money factor and any other drive off costs. Then plug the numbers into the calculator on this website to verify.

If this is a 36 month lease and the $6k is your total drive off cost (instead of just down payment), then that amount adds $166 to each months payment (when compared to a zero down lease). That makes the lease $395/month which is a bit high unless you are in a state that taxes more than just the monthly.

Depending upon number of miles on loaner, you should be targeting 25% off MSRP as selling price and a deal at that price with base money factor and $795 acquisition fee would be a pretty good deal.

Thank you, I will drop the dealer an email and see if i can work out a deal with them. Once i get a reply I will post my findings.

That’s about $400 a month on a used car that is about to be a year old in 6 weeks. You can do much better.

Mediocre. In Sept I got $366mo (incl tax) on a brand new car with zero down.
I would counter with zero down same payment. They cannot be serious at current price.

Msrp ? I’m assuming full MSD that sounds great
