I have replied to around 30 odd PMs with dealer info. The dealer shows around 15 odd cars in his inventory so some people will miss out.
However I believe this can be replicated at other NY/NJ dealers as in the last 2 days of the months the dealers are motivated to move the 17s before they loose lease support.
I am going to check with few other dealers who have reached about it to me yesterday as the month end nears. They were not budging for more than 6-7% off last week but now they seem more likely to come close to my number.
What I am doing is nothing special, it can be done by others reading this as well. Rather than all of us going to this same dealer which I pointed to who has limited inventory we should all put some effort and spread out.
If we don’t do it demand and supply dynamics will kick in and it will get harder to get deals from him other than the above listed car which most likely will go early today if not already gone.
Yes, so i ended up at 150~ with one-pay on a 55k MSRP i3 rex.
Its the high doc fees, tax on payment and tax on the rebate that drive the price up. I ran it without these things and go right down to the price you got.
Please be cautious with the way you word things as this only spreads false hope to buyers that don’t understand the difference. This deal was not created by simply discounting a car 13% off MSRP. People read comments like this and then back up CA’s email accounts which keep us from getting back to true prospects.
I have lot of respect for what you do and your upfront manner in which you price your deals but my deal was straight up 13.59% of MSRP without any rebates. Than I applied 13k rebates.
I am not saying it’s easy to do but I only needed 1 dealer to do it and found them.
I have placed the screenshot of the calculator showing my numbers in one of the posts above.
Dave, It looks like HN was specific with how the deal was done.
Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2017 BMW i3 REX
MSRP: $50,495
Selling Price: $44,000
Rebates: $13,000 (iCredit, lease cash, build out cash, fleet, BMW loyalty)
From this, it’s clear that it took the 13% MSRP discount PLUS the assorted incentives to get to his number. Not everyone will qualify for fleet, loyalty or college grad, but we all know that.
Thanks for the compliments! What I was referring to was the ability to reach the one pay $ amount that you got which is largely in part to zero taxes being applied in your state. Here in CA, specificallyin LA County the tax on the $13k in rebates alone would cost someone an additional $1,235. Not to mention that Corp Fleet is not a taxable rebate but comes off the MSRP so either the rules in your region are different or the CA made some errors that the dealership had to eat (which they would not willingly do for another customer).
You got the unicorn of all unicorns and you should be stoked!! But I can’t sit back and let someone here in CA tell people it’s possible just to be bombarded with emails from dreamers that take me off-market from real clients with realistic expectations.
Dave, you have a bunch of i3s in stock. Why not post a potential deal to demonstrate what it looks like in SoCal and as an added benefit you’ll likely get interest.
