2017 BMW i3 REX CPO Lease Numbers

Hi there! I’ve attached a quote for a CPO 2017 BMW i3 Rex lease. The MSRP checks out but I feel like they’re fudging some numbers here. Could you guys take a look and let me know that it’s not just me? Thanks so much!

Do the CPO i3s not qualify for the $7500 incentive anymore? If not, that’s a terrible deal as you can get a new one for less.

Well let’s see. I don’t know the new MF for June but in May it was .00150 so I suspect they marked that up the maximum they are allowed. The doc fee is also very high- looks like a Florida type doc fee!

You can’t get the $7,500 lease cash on this and indeed it shows $0 for rebates. So the discount is what they are knocking off for it being a “used” car. Depending on your state you might also lose any state rebates since the car is considered used.

Again, don’t know your location but if this was a California car you’d be out $10,000 combine in state and federal rebates/credits making the discount off MSRP a paltry $1,345. That would make this a terrible deal. As the poster above notes you can get a brand new car for same or less.

If you get a new car for $500 over invoice (roughly $3,000 discount before incentives), something that should be easily doable on an i3, then based on the May MF and residuals you would be at $438 before tax with a drive off of $2,200 (doc fee, acquisition fee, first month, taxes).

This is a bad deal on a new 2017 i3 and the fact it’s for a CPO makes it outrageously bad!

Just FYI I’m paying half of your monthly for a new 2017 w/ MSRP of 56k and 0 down. I’m in CA but thats how bad your deal is.
