2017 BMW 340i - This a decent deal on BMW these days?

Ummm, no. The lower priced product is by definition the entry level product.

You don’t get to ignore something that refutes your argument or try to wish it away by arbitrarily calling it meaningless.

::ahem::

Sorry to butt in again, please give me your feedback on this:

$487 per month incl 8% tax, $1500 cash down
$53,420 MSRP.

I’m at the dealership now :astonished:
Pull trigger ?

That’s a good deal for a new 340.

You can assume my F80 lease . Seriously it’ll be your call.

Picked up the car at $486.31/mo w 8% tax!

Love the power and handling - no way can anyone call this 340i an “entry level” car imo

That is a good price…I would take it. Congrats on the new car…that B58 engine is no joke.

Im sorry but bmw 340i entry level?? You guys are joking right? I used to have a 2010 328i msport that thing drove like a maniac!! After that i went thru 2013 a4 and a 2015 c300 4matic still i would prefer 2010 328i!!

K let’s try not to derail the OP. Grats on the 3, entry level or not.

first option
-taxes paid upfront (nyc tax rate)
MSRP: $56,045
discount: 6,200
sale price: 49,845
residual amount: $34,187
money factor/rate: .00190
36months/12k
monthly payment: $596.71

(M package, driver assistance package, cold weather and tech package)

second option
-charges rolled into monthly payment $719.97
same numbers as above but just $719.97 due on delivery

Do you really want to pay 4.56% interest and tax on those fees?

Congrats on the new car. $487 per month sounds like a great deal for a 340i. What options does your car have?

Dodge no longer produces the Dart, its entry level sedan is the Charger. In your book, optioning one out as a SRT or Hellcat would still leave it in entry-level status.

Not following the same logic (class isn’t defined by the manufacturer’s lack of vehicles in a category in the way you’re describing) but also not interested in derailing the post since this is neither informative nor worthwhile for those who are actually visiting the thread.

Pretty slim down version with few options:
M sport Pkg, Nav, Harmon Kardon,
Apple Car Play… I think that’s all.

No heated seats, no drivers assistance,no HUD.

Congrats on your 340! It’s a great car, the B58 engine is a gem. Great deal despite current BMW leasing culture.

For anyone else shopping, I concur, 15% off MSRP minimum. We got 17% and 20% off ours without asking too hard.

Where are you seeing those deals? I have been looking for 330xi and I can only get a little over 6% off. Do your percentages include rebates? I was fighting for 10 or 11% but no one will bite. I realize this is for 340xi but I imagine it would be the same scenario. Is this for a new car or loaner?

I’m in socal. We have so many dealers, competition is higher. 20% off before incentives, didn’t mention those until the end.

Looking for thought on this deal i agreed on
