Hi everyone, I have a 2016 X1 xDrive that I want to transfer to someone else. It’s fully loaded with an MSRP of $44045.

Good luck with the transfer! Looks like a fine deal.

You can’t get an X1 for $319/month + tax with $500 drive-off (that’s how much BMW FS charges for a lease transfer fee) from a dealer.

How would this work with sales tax if an out of state buyer purchased it? I’m in WA where sales tax is 9.6%.

Bmw would add the tax to your monthly payment.

$348.56 is tax included (8%) and I was told that the tax rate is dependent on the new owner.

I got two people interested from craigslist. One is trying to get the nod from his wife, the other is hesitant about paying the security deposits ($2450) up front to me. I tried to explain that the money is paid back by BMW at the end of lease, and I need to collect it now. We’ll see.
