That depends on what the selling price they use in that example is. GM uses an average sale price. Ford, I’m not sure. If they are going by straight MSRP, then no, that is not a good deal, as the dealer discount should be a couple thousand bucks at least. Need to know all the details…

From reverse calculating the deal, we find that it assumes a selling price of $40,280, or about $2,000 off MSRP. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could do better. Manufacturer offers typically assume a slight discount.
