2016 BMW 328i Gran Turisom - deal or no deal?

Hey there - new leaser here and trying to navigate dealer’s offer in MN.

BMW is not manufacturing 2016 new GTs any more. I am willing to wait until 2017 starts to hit the lot, and am very picky about int/ext color combo (no white or black). All past and current 328is - whether GT or sedan - have one or both and I don’t want any on lot. Gran Turismo is staying pretty much the same in 2017 except for a couple features that I won’t notice.

They are saying they can get a 2016 GT with Driver Assist, Premium Package, Tech, and Cold Weather MSRP $51,595, would do a $4,000 discount. Residual is 63%. MF 0.00125. $2606 down.

Lease would be 3 years/10K year.

All the calculators are showing me this would be in $450 to $520 range yet they are quoting me as $568/month payment.

  1. is this a good lease
  2. why the variation between on-line calculators and what they are quoting me
  3. is this a good time to wait or jump because of residuals or offers that might come on line as different models come on?

July numbers will be out on Friday or Monday so you can roll the dice and wait and see what changes. You should have more of a discount and also do MSD to bring the monthly down.

How much should I propose for the MSD? All Bimmer dealers have this as an option?

BMWNA allows 7 msd. 0.00089 would be the rate after 7 msd.

Well i can tell you the MF is not correct, that is below their buy rate, should be .00138 for June.

id push for 6k off. base MF with full MSD. first payment plates due at signing. 3 series arent selling well for them right now.

With 51595 sticker 6k off 7 msd and 63% resid i get about 500 with tax. I used my tax rate of 10%.
